  Letter to be read at meeting this week about the downsize

  a family member who is a bethelite informed me today that there is a letter to be read soon ( this week or next) concerning the downsizing.

  so probably someone who has their midweek meeting early in the week will be able to fill in the details.

  That's just seems to be what it's all about these days in the Borg. Can't the rank and file using any of their minds to think that all this ''asking for money may mean that God's hand may longer be in this?''

  Too Much Discontent in Congregation Part 1

  i am seeing and hearing many, many long-time jws openly expressing problems with either the watchtower society itself, the publications, changing doctrine, incorrectly living their lives as a result of bad doctrine, the behavior of the boe and other related things.

  i will share some of these things in several posts, because there are just too many of them.

  the complaints that i hear from publishers and pioneers are many.

  firstly, there are cash flow problems in wt town.

  i don't think it's necessary to list all the cutbacks and layoffs, but there have been many.. their thirst for money seems higher too in my opinion.

  more entitled may be a better way of putting it.

  I strongly believe that the May 2014 letter read to congregation about the so-called ''forgive loan'' agreement was a precursor. A precursor to ''force tithing'' of sorts.

  ''We all must be ready to obey any instructions we may receive whether they seem strategic from a human standpoint or not''.

  With that sentiment about ''uquestioning'' obedience in that study issue back in January 2014 seemed oddly convenient that the society would provide such a study like that just a few months before the May 2014 ''forgive loan'' letter. It seems logical that the Borg could produce a similar such ''study'' about ''obedience'' and cleverly implement a ''tithing scheme''' schenanigans not long after.

  The Borg may not call it ''tithing'' per se, but could use some other mind tactic about ''Give to Jehovah'' your ''valuable'' things.

  does anybody remember any thing else that was once or still is proscribed against faithful j-dubs?

  when brothers in our kh started wearing different colored shirts rather than white, it caused a great stir and ruckus.

  No coloured shirts!! Brothers were frowned upon for donning coloured shirts at one time. Anal.

  Sell everything you have, including your houses, and send ALL of your proceeds to the WBTS, and obey!!!

  wow, what a disturbing study article this was!

  this was by far the most difficult study that i ever had to sit through.

  just take a look at what the article has to say about how blood should be viewed according to our conscience:.

  Kingdom Hall feels uncomfortably hot lately

  i started noticing a change at the kh.

  for the past couple of weeks, the place feels quiet warm.

  personally i have to take my coat off as soon as i walk in.

  you're not alone. A/C uses a lot of power. They are becoming more and more frugal all the time when it comes to using money. All excess money is sent to WBTS, I'm sure your situation is not isolated.

  One Year Later - A Thank You to Tony Morris.

  i wanted to send you a note of "thanks" on this special day.. why is this day special, you may ask?

  one year ago today, you, tony, woke me up to the fact that the governing body could not have jehovah's blessing or direction.. last year, on november 8th & 9th, 2014, the united states branch visit was broadcast to over 1,000,000 jehovah's witnesses across the country.. as i sat at the kingdom hall listening to the "historic occasion," i was ignoring certain doubts that had surfaced in the few months prior.

  Possible reason for cancellation of book study in homes.

  this was posted on fb.. so guys, i'm gonna share something with you all that i think you should know.

  i've only told two people about this (one being john cedars) for fear of getting this guy into trouble, but it's very telling and will reaffirm your "ttatt faith!

  a couple of weeks ago, i had to have an "ability to protect" assessment by a gentleman from a company that also investigates child protection policies etc.

  Moving the book study to the Kingdom Halls because of high petro prices??? That was a ludicrous reason. Who do they think they were kidding??

  If anything, the most of the rank and file were too lazy to walk a few blocks to their nearest house for a the book study. Then they were moving the book study even further away, to the kingdom halls. Then they call high petro prices, I'm sure many didn't believe it was because of high petro prices. Most, if not anyone, had to travel twice, if not three times as far to the kingdom hall as they would to someone's house for the book study.
